I think Ace needs to jump on as a support act for a major band doing a Euro tour. Get him in the arenas and in front of a wider audience as opposed to 5000 die hards in a theatre.

....and I must admit, I'm interested as to how he's going to perform on the Kruise this year...and I don't think I'm the only one....

With a guitar I'd have thought.

Ace doesn't draw anything close to 5000 people in theatres. Other than Alice Cooper or Kiss I can't think of any arena sized band that'd take him out in the UK.

I don't think Ace is bothered. He's doing his thing and he probably doesn't need the money too much. The final Kiss tour will likely involve him in some way and that payout will see him through til he pops off.

It's the best thing he's done since second sighting...but that doesn't mean it's actually any good!
I thought the first 3 tracks were okay but then it kind of goes down hill...
Most importantly, the solos are all just the same 3 tricks he does...over & over & over.
Shame really, I think he just doesn't care any more.
Still a vast improvement on the last 30 years though :?

Anyone else?

I listened to Anomaly, Space Invader & Space Man back to back and it's definitely my favourite of the three.

Really not sure what to make of the album. I liked the songs on Anomaly better but prefer the guitar playing on the new album. The lyrics are nothing to write home about either. The biggest problem is with Ace's voice it seems over produced completely devoid of the character his vocals user to have.

Ace has always been on a hiding to nothing because he made a fantastic solo album back in 78. Granted he has never managed to match it but the fact he is still motivated to record new music forty years on has to be admired.

I really hope he is on his game on the Kruise. An Ace show can be a great experience, fingers crossed he pulls it out.

I've had the album on in the car for a week or two and quite like it. Don't really see how it's any better or worse than any of his other solo stuff.
