End of the road...over very quickly?

Postby b.monkey4 » Thu Jan 17, 2019 3:34 pm

Am I the only one to think that if they announce some more south American dates to coincide with the new Mexican festivals in may that this tour could be over within 15 months?
It'll only leave Japan and a possible 2 or 3 final shows in the states (probably outdoor stadiums) to do.
Just a thought.

Mmmm - Maybe!

I was hoping for a 2021 return to UK or maybe even Europe, but Paul did say, "if we have been to your town, that's it'
Surely there has to be 5 or 7 nights in MSG to finish off? I'd settle for that, but what price a ticket???

Well it certainly appears to be over very quickly for Ace given ‘his’ recent Facebook rant!!!

As for Kiss I’m sure they’ll be back in NYC before this is over.

Well, what a boring setlist, absolutely no effort to shake things up and please the fans for the final tour. The stage set is nothing special, if I can sell my ticket I will, although I don't hold out much hope seeing as they don't have a single date sold out. What a tragic end to my favourite bands career.

They can't even sell out one date at MSG, so why would they do 5 or 7??!!

Wow...talk about a bear with a sore head
Actually, I don't mind the setlist, it has a bit of everything.
Not seen the stage set, waiting to see it in person.

Just reflecting on last night's show and it hit home that this is the last first night of KISS's touring career. Over 40 years man and boy following this band will soon be coming to an end. I fully intend to enjoy the UK shows and celebrate everything this band has meant to me.
I honestly didn't expect drastic changes to the set list it's been set in stone give or take the odd song for years. Given that many of the songs are linked to pyro/stunts it's not easy to change it up night after night. I'm sure most of us could pick twenty songs that we would like to see performed that didn't get a look in last night.
I take on board everybody's opinions/gripes and understand where they are coming from.
BUT in these times when the country seems to be in crisis it's good to know that in July for two hours I can escape from everything and spend time with MY band. It's also an opportunity to meet up with friends and have fun.
Hope to see everyone out there, roll on July.
