Berlin monster tour 2013

Postby matty_kissarmy » Fri Jun 14, 2013 9:00 pm

Hope you are all well, and hope you all enjoyed Copenhagen!, Berlin was brilliant music wise but was disappointed that the spider did not move once and Paul did not even fly over the crowd, it seems like he went to fly over but then something to do with doc changed that. Also I was so disappointed with the merch they sold t shirts, a cap and a tommy Thayer signed photo!, had a great few days in Berlin it's a lovely city, would never go back to Germany for the reason the majority of Germans are arrogant idiots and speak to you like shit, so how was Copenhagen?, let me here the funny stories?

Also the venue was absolutely fantastic, lovely forest background behind the stage and the standing area was pretty small so was pretty close to the front!, I went to the hrc event to watch gene Simmons aswell let's just say it was not worth the 6 hour wait, I shall be going to the same gig as all of use next time!

Also I was so disappointed with the merch they sold t shirts, a cap and a tommy Thayer signed photo, apparently they can not sell anything in Germany with the kiss logo on it something to do with the swat sticker I think!, had a great few days in Berlin it's a lovely city, would never go back to Germany for the reason the majority of Germans are arrogant idiots and speak to you like shit, so how was Copenhagen?, let me here the funny stories?
Genuinely bemused ,is that a Swat Sticker or a Swastika! There really is a major difference!! (Check a photo or 2!!)
Ziggy played guitar...or was it Ronson?

You know what I meant haha!, well obviously I know the difference between the 2 I am just saying what the guy at the merchandise stall told me, apparently the promoter will not change the logo on anything except for t shirts and caps!

Very surprised at your hatred of Germans after your one visit. Having toured there, recorded there and visited there for many years I have never got the feeling of being "talked to like shit" or felt like dismissing most of them as "arrogant idiots" as a result....I guess your "swat sticker" comment explains it partly though (OMG!!1! NAZIS LOL!)

Didn't the giant screen get stuck when the logo was being flashed on it ?
I was told by my German friend that it got stuck with just the SS showing. Apparently it was the first time the reich had held a rally in Berlin since 1942.

I was last in Germany in 2008.
At the time I was the Commercial Manager for a Speedway rider and we had a booking in Teterow.
We were all treated awfully, even one of our drivers, who is a German national.
We stopped to refuel at a Shell station and were surrounded by screaming skinheads threatening us with baseball bats. This was inside the shop where we were stocking up with diesel, food and snacks.
It was real bad.

I will never go to Germany again
