The band 'Katmandu'...

Post by MoNsTeR »

Hey all,

Does anyone remember a short lived band called 'Katmandu' back around 1991???

I will always remember that they supported a band on their UK tour around the same time. Does anyone remember who they supported?? It's been eating me away for years that I can't remember - I went to the show and Katmandu still stick in my mind, but I have no idea who I actually paid to see headline!

Anyway, I got hold of their debut (and only) album today and it sounds great. The song 'When The Rain Comes' is the song that I most remember from that gig.

Anyone know anything???

:D

I've been racking my brains.... I went to see Tesla at St. Davids Hall (touring their excellent 'Psychotic Supper' album), but, if I recall correctly, the support was from Kiss Of The Gypsy from the UK (how do I remember this shit??!!).

I only ever saw Little Angels support Cinderella in Nov. '88, so it wasn't them either I don't think. I certainly don't recall them playing Exeter, though I could be wrong...

Come on people - someone must remember something...???

Found this that backs up that I saw them with Little Angels at St Davids Hall as suspected.
