Friday in Manchester was funny...any other band would've had a major strop (heck if had been G 'n'R the show would've been cancelled!) but not the Quo, they just cam ambling on and launched into 'Caroline'.

Must say that's ever so decent of you!!!!!

And it worked! Just like a fish on a hook you got me!!!...

"Quo thread...2006? WTF's this...?"... :?

You know what I just might...that's MIGHT!...give them another shot live.
Last time I saw Quo was the (first & only to date?) farewell tour...mid/late 1980's?
They are touring again in Decemeber I take it! Like every year!!!

Good live band, but as mentioned in the thread they went a bit cheesy pop. Music for couples to listen to all snug on the couch with their slippers warmin by the fire!...
ACK!...It's Rock 'n' Roll!!

Saw the Quo in 2001 in Newport centre on the Never say never tour.
They are a good band and they played a great show, I enjoyed it. :)

1978 Quo were the first band i ever got into.my dad picked up Blue for You and Piledriver for me...wow what great records, they still stand up today.Loved them up to Back to Back, but to be honest after John Coghlan left that was it music wise for me.Though i keep saying i will catch them live just for old times sake, they were one of the best live bands ever i thought :)
