Not hot enough for you Crad..... many thanks for some competition and some shaky moments in the latter stages but class came through in the end ... sounds like the FA Cup Final all over again! I'll look forward to a rematch next season or maybe in the Euros?crad wrote:Things are hotting up on the Fantasy League also it's close at the top but i think i chose the wrong captain this week

Well the Pot Noodles will take the points tally and improve on it for next season.
Our performances deserved much better and with a bit of luck our league position would have been higher.
My job is safe, its an ongoing rebuilding process at Pot Noodle FC & I stand by the players I wasted £100m on even though the vast majority of them were utter shite.
I won't be drawn into a discussion regarding my future as Pot Noodle manager over some article in a newspaper.

Anyhoo more serious
The rumour mill is on overdrive this afternoon with the news that Kenny Dalglish is no longer the Liverpool manager
Dalglish is set to finish his post as Liverpool manager today after talks last night in the US, where Dalglish spoke with the owners of the club. After a poor season by the clubs standards and the large sums of money spent for very little return his position was always in doubt.
Liverpool finished in eighth position in this year’s Premier League which means that they have to settle for a place in the Europa league courtesy of their Carling Cup win, which is deemed unacceptable by the clubs owners. Daglish is still held high in the opinions of the Liverpool fans, but the low league finish means that his time as the manager could come to a close today.
It is believed that he will be offered a role on the board of the club, but his position of manager will be finished. There are suggestions that Roberto Martinez could be the successor to the post with Paddy Power making him 3/1 to be the next manager.
LFC are refusing to confirm or deny rumours that Dalglish is no longer manager.
RAFA MAY MAKE A RETURN
