I think he will be overwhelmed by the greeting he will recieve at Anfield.
Dalglish is a Legend end of.
We earned the carling cup,
We earned a place in the fa.cup final.
We didn't buy our way into european glory,we earned it.
& we haven't purchased the premier league title..!
Lets hope Brendan can make our current players become a force to be reckoned with Again.
A few too many tequillas based on this load of shite

Dalglish spent £105m in his nostalgia year on his way to 'earning' the Carling Cup.

The £300m+ spent in the last 5 years is second only to City but you are correct that it hasn't bought you the title.

Crad, you sound like a Gooner with all that denial, I'll assume it was just the juice that addled your brain

Rodgers is a good move... Have a drink to celebrate

be interesting to see if the anfield faithfull give rodgers the same support as they gave kd, i doubt it though 2-3 losses and they will be calling for his head which will be a huge shame he will need time to turn it around if he can

Well I hope not.
We're usually known for our support toward the team manager and with the exception of Woy I can't remember a Liverpool manager being slated by the fans at Anfield.
I can see a few liggers on being shown the door within the next week or so. Clear out the fringe players that are costing a fortune and doing nothing at all then take a good look at the first team & sort that out whilst trying to bring in players capable of playing the way Rodgers wants the club to move forward.

On another note I see Chelski have landed Hulk for a vastly high sum. Just goes to show that when you're champions of Europe you can attract anyone. We did and managed to secure the pointless flat footed Charlie Chaplinesq nonsense that is Jermain fuc*ing Pennant
I thought Chelski would have gone for Falcao to partner Torres.

BR needs time lets hope he gets it,he appears to be making the right noises.I dont think the team needs too much tinkering but the hard job will be attracting the top players to Anfield. Not a slur its just that City and Chelsea's millions speak volumes in this day and age,the days of a club's historic standing dont count for much in present day football.

As for England, any more injuries and Father J may get a call up. I feel sorry for Cahill,he looks like he could go on and become a top class centre half. Roy cant really lose this time around,no pressure no expectation. The next World Cup will be his aim,a new generation of England stars and a nations hopes riding on his shoulders.

Meanwhile down at Ewood, the chicken farmers have said nowt, they will make a decision on Kean next month(July) just a month before the new season starts.Maybe i should start a protest group?? That said our new season tickets work out at just £9.50 a game, anyone interested?? I can promise a cure for insomnia and a stiff neck with looking up in the air for 90 minutes.
