Crickey, twenty years tonight ..... awesome gig - two excellent bands.

Snuck into the front row seats - between Axl and Slash .....

I remeber seeing GnR at Dinny 88 just before they were about to explode.

I only knew sweet child o mine, as the album bummed first time round if I rember.

The rest is history!

Mind you, i was disappointed with the recent show at NEC.
I remember when Nigel Pearson had HAIR!

I was at Hammy O on that tour....

Great stuff! There were three bands (the opener being the Queerboys!)

I think the support was Horse (London) at the Manc show.

I was at Rock City for this, just the two bands and I thought then, and still do now, that Faster Pussycat kicked the living piss out of GnR.

I remember Taime Down making his entrance by lunging headfirst straight into the crowd, the band tearing into "Cathouse" and from then on it being a full tilt Glam Rock and Roll racket.

Guns, on the other hand, were sloppy and on the wrong side of laid back. Who knows - maybe they'd taken some drugs.

Hey, that's just the way I remember it! Tweny years ago, though...Jeez. :shock:
