Driving Licences

Just found out from a member of our constabulary,
That there is a non endoresable £60 fine if your are stopped & your Driving licence has
expired,
How many of check to see if they have expired ?
The D.V.L.A Do not remind you that your licence is about to expire
Check yours today...

that's the photo ones though isn't it..my old paper licience expires in 2038...by then Planet Earth will be a charred ember..a post-apocalyptic desert ruled by a chinese mad max.. :shock: :lol: :lol:

Can't check mine it's at Police HQ getting my three points and 60 quid fine they got me for speeding three weeks back... Bastards .!!!!!

£20 to renew the photo as well. I got a "reminder"from the DVLA but didn't bother for four months as I was quite happy with the old photo til I was told the licence was invalid and I was driving illegally. I'm as RocknRoll as the next man but you gotta draw the line somewhere. :lol:

Check the date on the front of the photo licence (4b). They only last ten years, I think although I may be wrong.

Your right Tim,your driving licence lasts only 10 years then you have to get a new one.. :(

Fryer Tucs is a paper licence from Dads Army era :)

Just had to renew mine(every 5 years) and got fleeced for £100 by my G.P. because he had to make the effort to tick a few boxes on a form to say I'm fit enough to have one. C*** !!

I think your doctor is more concerned your leg has more mechanical parts than robocop these days and may sieze up during cold spells. :D
