Jumping out of a plane

As part of my list of stuff to do before hitting 4-0 I've decided to jump out of a plane for Born Free. If anyone wants to donate I'd be very grateful, all donations go to Born Free and not towards the jump. It's on 25th May, usually me & heights don't go hand in hand, but photos will be supplied as evidence!

If you want to donate by phone you can also text
FINN97 £1
to
70070
(works with 1,2,3,4,5 or £10)

Thanks a million!

My advice. Get pissed the night before. Falling from a plane is the BEST hangover cure. EVER!

Good luck & enjoy yourself.

I jumped in Australia a few years ago, equally awesome, bonkers, terrifying and amazing!

The moment you find yourself at 10,000 ft +, dangling your legs out of a plane waiting to get pushed out is fuc*ing mental! Every single fibre of your being is screaming at you not to do it, and your brain gets so befuddled (well, mine did) that you slip into some odd, primal, in utero, trans-like state of being.

I'd def do it again.

Make are you go to the toilet before hand :D

Thanks Madmark!

Thanks for the tips, I can't wait. I've booked it for 8:30AM so I don't spent the whole morning shitting myself! :D

Thanks very much to everyone who sponsored me, I made £500 in the end. Had a brilliant time, Sibson is a great place really recommend it. Here's some photos 13,000ft up falling at 120mph!

Yep, a Gene impression makes it way out of my gob, even while shitting myself

Can't believe people do this for a living, photographer hung onto the side of plane, then fell...
Image

If we weren't 13,000 ft up then yes this would be weird.....! The drogue is 'slowing' us to 120mph!
Image

This was after freefalling 8000 feet, thank fu*k it opened in one piece!
Image

Would I do it again? Shit yes! I have £20 off vouchers for friends if anyone wants to join me :D

Well done. I did one last year. Had to force myself to open my eyes when i went out! Think I invented a few new swear words as well!!
I'm going in the opposite direction for my sponsored challenge this year by walking up Ben Nevis!

Ha ha, I had to force mine open too. good luck with Nevis, I done it about 15 years ago, the route from Glen Nevis isn't too bad, especially if the weathers good.

Pete you are right, it's a great hangover cure!
