Crad doesn't want to believe Im afraid. I gave up on trying to convert him mid Sept last season.
I don't think any of us are under the illusion we'll win the league. If we do it will be the greatest achievement of any Liverpool manager, ever !!
I'll be extremely happy with a top 4 finish. Top 3 would be fantastic. Runners up would be a clear statement to all that the club has ridden the shit storm and has come out the other side far stronger and capable of going that one step better.
A bit of silverware would benefit the club as well. We seem to be lagging in FA Cup silverware so that would be a nice bonus.

My predictions for the Premier League 2013-2014 season:

Champions: Chelsea
Runners Up: Man City
3rd: Liverpool
4th: Man Utd

Relegated:
Stoke City
Crystal Palace
Hull City

That would do for me. As long as we continue to progress and play the football we played last season in March/April/May (when there's actually something to play for!!). Fourth would be nice. Third better (saves us a C/L prequalifier).

That explains things £1.1m is far more like it.  rubbish buy of the season even if he was free if you are replacing Reina with him.

I have to agree, an utter waste of money.
We still need to beef up our back line. Surely thats the priority, not throwing money at a shit goalkeeper
