Was on telly yesterday. Best Star Wars film. Ever...
Or not? What do you all reckon?
Sorry but kinda quiet for work and I'm a bit bored...

Re: The Empire Strikes Back.
Hell yeah. Empire's my favorite of all those films. When Luke chopped off Vader's head in that tree and it turned out to be Luke's head, that got my 10-year old mind thinking for DAYS. That was some deep stuff.
And was I the only one who thought Darth Vader was lying when he told Luke he was his father? When Jedi came out and both of them were talking about it like it was fact, I was confused. "Really? He's really Luke's father?!?"
I wasn't the brightest bulb on the marquee when I was a kid, I guess.

It's so cool.
So many great bits in it. The introduction of Boba Fett and all the other Bounty Hunters (that's a TV series there for you George). The Empire stomping on the rebellion left, right and centre. Lando Calrissian being cooler than f**k and replacing Han Solo as my fave character for about 3 months.
SW & ESB are without a doubt toptastic.
Jedi's ok. Loved it as a kid, don't love it so much now...
As for the prequels..well lets save that rant for another day!!!
The SW films are the only films that I can remember exactly waht I was doing and where I was the day I saw them too...(excluding films I have seen recently!!...

Re: The Empire Strikes Back.
It is the best SW film. No doubt about it.
Not only is it great sci-fi, but it's a little dark.. angsty.. it ends on a downer.. SUPERB!
That rant between Han & Leia when he's trying to get her to her ship (with 3-PO).. love it
the snow scene's, AT-ATs, Luke v Vader, cloud city, Han frozen.. "I love you.." - "I know!"
Im gonna need to go watch it now..

Yeah I knew about the Star Wars TV show. Just stating George could do a whole show about all the different Bounty Hunters...
