I was reading Steven Gerrards autobio recently, his cousin was killed that day and he was nearly there with him. He always touches his cousins name when he goes in to work on the gates to Anfield, the testerment he pays to those fans in his book is breath taking.

Yer... i would have been 10 haha.
I dont remember the news reports, but the story sticks in my head.

22 years ago and yet there is still a major cover up to protect those guilty of causing the deaths of 96 football fans.
The images, the sheer terror, the lasting effects of that day will be mine to take to my grave. It doesn't haunt me like it does for some but there are certain things I just can't listen to or look at.
A happy day out with two friends, just like the year before, same ground, same team, same everything, different ending.

As much as we argue, take the piss, wind each other up, etc. I would NEVER want any football supporter of ANY club on this forum to witness what I saw that day. Football is about loving your club, enjoying the spectacle of the game, not fighting desperately for your life or watching children die.
