Apparently in tomorrow's Independent Lethal Bizzle is going to be claiming racism in relation to the bottling at Download. Some idiots threw bananas with some stupid stuff written on it and a cuddly monkey.
This pisses me off somewhat. No excuse for those idiots trowing bananas, probably no excuse for bottling at all. But to paint it as out and out racism will be such a poor thing to do (and I suspect it will be the Independent's spin rahter than Lethal Bizzle's words). The reason he was bottled was because LiveNation chose to put a rap artist in front of a Rock/Metal crowd. Otherwise Skindred would have got similar treatment, but the fact is they were a spot on band who got a great reception as a result.
