Unfortunately I have to say yes. He is a British Citizen and he can be controlled from here.

Have to say I'd like to see him locked up forever. But Britain has quite tight rules on travel for bastards like this - and are about to be toughened up, so better to have the shit here and manage him than have him roaming vulnerable 3rd world countries abusing children.

Totally agree with Skinny Martin, now he has got off lightly abroad, we should take him back and I hope the media don't give him the spotlight and notierity he still obviously craves given his poses on the red tops front pages. I do hope we have a satisfactory monitoring system.

Its totally sick what he has been doing. Equally as bad is Jonathan King preying for years on teenage boys and having the front to say they wanted to be abused and smirking and boasting about it all. Hats off to jimmy Pursey from Sham who really spoke out when he was first questioned.

Maybe the thread should be titled..Should Gary Glitter be allowed to return to the UK, if he wants to? As so far he's showing a great reluctance to return. Understandable I guess.

I read today in the paper (not sure if it's true) that he still has about £5 million saved away as he sold his back catalog rights just before he got done and jailed in the UK. I find that pretty sickening.

That £5m could pay for his next stash of kiddie porn. I hear it's pretty pricey. LOL

On the plus side, he's always been a cheap artist to collect here in the States because nobody wanted it even before his private perversions were made public (HE PRACTICALLY GLOATS ABOUT IT IN HIS FIRST BOOK!). The dealers know to put the items in a plain brown bag for me. Unforgivable moral and legal troubles aside, his 70's stuff is still great. I'd love to see a GG Anthology DVD with all those UK TV appearances I've never seen. Why are you looking at me that way?

Looks like he doesnt want to anyway, i think he should have been left to rot in jail, scumbag.

Taken from Perez Hilton.com
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It looks like the saying "there's no place like home" is bollocks to pedophile Gary Glitter.

On Tuesday, he was released from a Vietnamese jail and kicked out of the country.

Vietnamese officials put him on a flight to London's Heathrow Airport via Bangkok, Thailand.

However, upon touching down in Thailand, Glitter refused to board a connecting flight to Heathrow!

Glitter has proclaimed many times that he will never ever return to his motherland.

He spent more than 20 hours in Bangkok airport's transit lounge before finally getting on a Thai airways service to… Hong Kong!!

It's an interesting development because the Chinese territory had declared earlier it would not accept the convicted pedophile.

Immigration officials in Thailand had said that Glitter would be taken to a detention center if he continued to refuse to get on a flight.

We're sure the Glitter saga is far from over.

We just don't think there's any way that the Chinese will let him stay in H.K.!

We don't think anyone else will want him either
