Brown is my shepherd

Post by skinnymartin »

Thought some of you would like this:

Brown is my shepherd, I shall not work,
He leadeth me beside still factories
He restoreth my faith in the Conservative Party,
He guideth me to the path of unemployment,Yea, though I wait for my dole,
I own the bank that refuses me,
Brown has anointed my income with taxes,
My expenses runneth over my income,
Surely, poverty and hard living will follow me all the days of his term,
From henceforth, we will live all the days
of our lives in a rented home with an overseas landlord,
I am glad I am British I am glad that I am free,
But wish I was a dog and Brown was a tree.

I also note that brown and Mandy ( lovely couple ) are trying to sell off 30% of the post office, which is owned by the gov.?
Could someone explain why they dont just put some money intothe post office like they spent BILLIONS ( i feel like Dr Evil now ) on the banks?

It's the oldest service in the world, perhaps they should do something about it?? instead of just selling bits off :!:
If its worth doing well, shout at someone else untill they do it right

The only bit I'd disagree with is the line about anyone's faith being restored in the Tory party. It's their friends in the city who have brought us all to this pretty pass. The idea that Cameron and co. will get us out of this mess is a laugh and a half. It won't take a couple of years before the British public start moaning about how crap the Conservatives are once they're in power, and then before long - give or take a term - there will be another election in which Labour will get returned to power, only to disillusion us yet again, before another Tory government is elected. And so it goes, and so it goes. Alternatively, we could all decide not to have any truck with any of the main political parties because they're all a bunch of shite hawks.
