Tommy had some issues with his guitar (I think during firehouse)
He snapped his top E string just after the intro to Firehouse, so had to change from the Sunburst to the black Les Paul.

Just got back from a great gig at Newcastle marred only by the tosser in the crowd who seemed to want to fight me during Cold Gin. Completely random, the bouncers appeared at he wanted to fight them and me and Ceri! Luckily they chucked him out but bloody hell. With the exception of the show can't say I enjoyed my time in Newcastle and won't be going there again. That said you can happily spend an afternoon watching pissed up blokes falling around the town and girls dressed up like prostitutes on the hunt. Nice.

If it was that guy, why would he wait to meet Gene ( which implies he is a fan and want to see the show ), and then do something like that? ( Implying that he wasn,'t really a fan and was just there to be pissed up and lairy.)

Also, is it possible people were mistaking being slightly rowdy at a rock show for being violent?

Looks like it was taken at Sheffield as that is the same gear that Gene is wearing in the photo with Dan.. That is Phil, who actually sold an Islington ticket to Tom Snyders Teddy Bear, and is featured in the Kerrang review of that gig. He seems to get everywhere but has left some plainly daft messages on this sites guestbook.

Also that pic is not of the Newcastle date as the bloke has dyed Black hair now and wasn't wearing that shirt and Gene had a different shirt and cap on
Sorry to be padantic but if you look at this photo you'll see it was taken at the same time as the one of Dan bach in the General Kiss Chat thread. This bloke is also mentioned by Dan in that post as being with him. at the time.

I'm also pretty sure that Thayer08 knows the pictured bloke and would know if he caused any trouble with him.

Let's not get carried away with any kind of character assassinations.
