They're shit. Don't know what they're like live as I didn't go in until they finished their set but I listened to their debut single a few weeks back when it was released and they sound like every other modern band (i.e. the 'singer' sounds like a cat being raped by a horse).

i know they've got a thankless task opening for the mighty kiss

I think the single was The Chain by Fleetwood Mac ! - appparently on Radio 2 's playlist

bit too many Spinal Tap moments when i saw em in liverpool for my liking but will probably sit through em again in Manchester as mate not seen em yet

They have won me over! I first saw them last month supporting Airbourne, and I thought they were pants - that was mainly down to having a really bad sound guy doing their work. In Liverpool, I thought they were OK, but after last night, I got in to them - I still don't like the Fleetwood Mac cover, but the rest of their stuff is growing on me.

No desire to see them, checked out a few tunes on myspace/youtube and it was all wrong for me. There are plenty of bands I would have liked to see instead. Ah well.

Been to four shows so far and not seen them once! I'm there for Kiss, nothing more (ok maybe some sneaky peeks at some of the lovely laydees that have been coming!) so I don't arrive much before 20:15, get in and onto the floor by the time Immigrant Song starts and that's me set for the night!

As awesome as being the opening band for Kiss must be, it's a bit redundant. Drop the openers and bill it as "An Evening with Kiss" next time.....

Seems I like I'm in the minority, but quite like them.

The album's a grower and the live versions aren't too bad. It's a thankless task opening for the mighty KISS, but it seems most people on here aren't prepared to give TD a chance, or they just stop in the bar til they've finished.

Well, like it has been said it's never gonna be easy for any new band opening for KISS. I was talking to Chris from Taking Dawn and he really wasn't expecting to be welcomed open armed by die hard KISS fans.Personally I think it was a total mismatch for them to be given this gig as their music is "too mainstream" and more appealing to the younger generation, that said I do like them and go to Youtube and listen to their version of Black Diamond. Oh yeah Chris also said that Gene had given them the old chestnut of how they had taken AC/DC,Van Halen........blah blah blah out on the road and started their career.Even if your not a fan of their music ,you have to agree this is a dream come true for four virtually unknown young lads....good luck to them
