What a show!Think it was better than sheffield..packed out and the band responded in kind.Seemed to be more explosions this time than sheffield.

There was definitley more pyro during RNRAN.. :D

Excellent show, second only to Glasgow (which will take some beating!!!!!!!!!!) There certainly was a lot more pyro used last night than at any of the other shows, but the MEN is the only venue big enough to fire all that pyro off in the UK. Pyro Pete must have been in his element last night!

Brillaint :) only gig of the tour I'm going so can't compare to others. But cracking night, stood a few rows back in front of Gene :)

Nothing wrong with Paul's voice he'd give a lot younger singers a run for there money.
Niece had some luck though, not sure exactly how it happened but she got given a program signed by all the band, then on top of that Doc McGhee started handing out guitar picks :) so she got one of them :)

Bloody yellow shirt gestapo were a bit jobs worth though what was with all that you can't stand up shite before the band came on ?? Was like watching kids in nursery, sit down sit down ha ha

It was a superb show and a big one in the eye for all those who doubted they could fill an arena the size of the MEN.

I though a lot of the pyro failed on some songs - Black Diamond was almost pyro free and I am sure it is normally packed with it .... maybe they've got some dodgy untrained workers filling the pods .... Baykiss?

Bloody Awesome!!!

My fourth show, previous was 1999 and I have to say that this was the best. The guys looked so relaxed and like they really were enjoying it unlike when Peter and Ace were there. Tommy is a legend and Eric's huge bazzooka, oo err mrs, brought a grin to my face. Really surprised how good the quality of the USB recording is. Listening to it now and is it me or has Paul's voice gone deeper? Seems to warble the long note more now too.

Gene was quite funny trying to look all mean, dripping blood while adjusting his harness. LOL!!

Thanks KISS for one hell of a time.

Hey all!
First time I'm posting on the forum :)

I'd been looking forward to 10th May since the dates were announced. I didn't get to sleep until 5:30am I was that excited!!
I waited outside the arena gates hoping to see the band go into the arena and maybe, just maybe, they would sign an autograph. Enjoyed chatting to a few fans who were there with me. Plus I spoke to the singer of Taking Dawn who was such a nice bloke. The Mercedes Vans containing drove straight through the gates. Gene was sat in the front passenger seat. Saw Tommy and Eric who waved to us when they were collecting their luggage and saw Doc too.
Popped back home to apply Gene's makeup to my face and assisted my mum who was putting on Paul's.
The band were on top form. It was my 3rd time seeing them and it was definitely the best performance I've seen from them.
Although I was on my feet throughout the entire concert singing near enough every lyric (and drum fills  ) the crowd around where I was sat was rubbish! Everybody was sat down and only got up when it was RARAN!! Someone mentioned about how the pyro was a bit off during Black Diamond. I noticed that too. Tommy did a great job but I don't think the soundman did. His guitar was very quiet during some parts. I could barely hear him during Let Me Go....
After the show I waited outside the arena gates until about 12:40 when the Mercedes Vans came out the arena with Gene in the front seat who waved to us but still no autograph or photo :(
Knowing that they would have the day off today I went to the Lowry Hotel where I knew the band was staying. After waiting for about 15 minutes I saw Gene leave the hotel and go straight into the Mercedes van waiting for him. The van drove past me as I was waving in hoping it would stop so I could get just the one autograph!

This whole Meet and Greet/Autograph stuff really, really annoys me! There are some people out there who are fortunate enough to be able to pay the £900 to meet the band and get whatever they want signed. But I'm only 18 years old. I'm saving money from my job for going to America this summer and University in September and I cannot afford to pay such a collosal price even if KISS is my favourite band. Would it really kill the band to take 5 minutes to come outside and sign a couple of things and/or pose for a photo? I was the only one at the Lowry waiting for Gene. The man is my all time life hero. Signing my Sonic Boom album and having a photo would have taken less than a minute and would not have delayed him in whatever it was he was going to do today. Now that the band is probably in London now I really don't think I'll ever have another oppourtunity to meet them :(

Hey, welcome to the forum. Was he with any security? I've had experiences with bands after a show and the bands security were just so OTT

I sympathise with you, man. I really do, especially as you were the only one there. I think thats really shoddy, another poster on here said he and his friends waited outside a hotel for 9 hours to see Paul, and Paul blanked them. VERY shoddy, indeed.

On the basis of things, I really think it was silly adding extra shows by KISS, Every else is getting one or two with the exception of Germany who get 4, plus a few fests, and we've been blessed with 10.
Just shows, Ireland was quite full, Wembley event 1 is sold out, Manchester was near sold out, Glasgow did sell out..
Well if they do return (And it's a very big IF), i expect it to return to Dublin, Manchester, London and Glasgow if anywhere, maybe just a show in London and Dublin.

Manchester - f--in brill. Pauls voice is getting better, loved the show and right at the front.

Seemed like Gene was having problems with his ear piece, and it fell out. He kicked it of stage and is now in my hands. Now then where can I buy a cloning kit?????? Will post a picture later.

Was it just me, or did Paul stay on the right or centre of the stage for most of the show?

Crowd was fantastic, no pushing and most people were happy with the postion they had, made for a more relaxed show and as a result more enjoyable.
