Re: RIP Ronnie James Dio
What sad news
I had so much admiration for Ronnie JD, as a metal legend and as a man. The music world will be a less exciting place without him around to make great new music.
I'm glad that I got to see the great man live 3 times over the last 10 years, and sad that the last 2 concerts I had tickets for had been cancelled due to that terrible disease.
Was listening to Dream Evil in the bus on my way to work (only heard the news this morning) and will be checking the internet all day for tributes and reading what the fans have to say. We're all united in grief. It was nice to see the tribute on Kissonline, I hope all metal / rock groups will pay decent tribute to RJD.
