i think it was pans people/cozy powell i was quite old for my 1st gig 18yrs in 1974

I took my Son to his 1st gig last year, he was 9 at the time and we saw Nickelback at the M.E.N.

He had a GREAT time and still talks about it now :)

Bon Jovi - New jersey tour. Birmingham NEC 1988 with Dan Reed Network supporting.

Really great show. Jon came up through the stage amid a load of pyro, heavy on the New Jersey songs and a massive walkway that came down from the roof. Loved it.

I did have 1979 in my head because I remember being 13, but just checked and it was

29th May 1980 .. Iron Maiden ..Victoria Hall Hanley :) I was still 13 just ha ha

Mine was Showaddywaddy at The Rainbow in 1976 :oops: .. Thankfully by the time I was 12, I got to see KISS, Black Sabbath and Queen :D

My first gig i went to was KISS at wembley 1980 £5.25 for a ticket.. :D

With my Mum - The Wombles, London 1975. - 7/8 years old

My first Welsh language gig - Trwynau Coch (translated as red noses, http://www.link2wales.co.uk/South/trwynau.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
at my school dance/disco. November 1979 - 11 years old

My first English language gig - Iron Maiden, at Swansea's Brangwyn Hall. My second gig would have been KISS at Deeside Lesiure Centre September 1980 (Mam banned me, grrr!).

My first festival - Donington Monsters of Rock, August 1983 ....
Diamond Head, Dio, Twisted Sister, ZZTop, Meat Loaf and Whitesnake
