Phil Kennemore (Y&T) RIP...
Via the Y&T Facebook page
Dave Meniketti: It is with profound sadness and disbelief that I tell you that my best buddy for 37 years passed away this morning, January 7, 2011 at 1am at Stanford Hospital. Bravely and steadfastly battling the horrible spectacle of lung cancer, at the end he was surrounded by his family members, and the Y&T family up until his final breath.
Wow.... we're only one week into 2011 and they're dropping like flies....

That's really sad. Didn't they just have a fund raising show for him in the US?dtkdemongene wrote:Via the Y&T Facebook page

Re: Phil Kennemore (Y&T) RIP...
Very sad news. I thought Y&T were really nice guys when we played in Norway with them & Eric Martin. Nice enough to allow us to hang out in their green room whilst Dokken were boring everyone to tears and even nicer still to not whing & gripe when we drank all their beer.
Whilst we're on the subject of musicians croaking. A very good friend of mine (and drummer to the band that's playing my wedding reception) died on Xmas Day. He'd had 5 strokes the other year and sadly didn't fully recover. His daughter found him when she went to take his presents round.
Very sad and yep, they're all dropping like flies....except for bloody Thatcher who will probably out live us all.
