Happy 70th birthday to one of the greatest song writers ever - Desmond Child.
They've even just covered I Was Made For Lovin' You on Strictly!
40 years ago today many UK KISS fans had their first ever taste of a KISS show, at least without make-up. The 1983 tour was on the back of a spike in popularity for the band after removing the make-up and releasing the Lick It Up album. It featured the tank stage and hit smaller venues than normal, including Stafford Bingley Hall. Both Eric Carr & Vinnie Vincent were in the band during the tour.

*Stafford was UK mega fan Dan Bach's very first show, he remembers a fight breaking out over Stanley throwing his firehat into the crowd! Big thank you to Dan for the info and the images below including his trip to Bingley Hall 15 years ago.

Fantastic show at London's O2 Arena last night, the energy in the O2 was amazing. I was lucky enough to attend the soundcheck too, where there was a short Q&A and we were treated to unmasked renditions of Honky Tonk Women (while waiting for Paul), Plaster Caster, Hotter Than Hell, Shock Me, a short Q&A, Got To Choose, Parasite, Christine 16 and Love her All I Can.
The main setlist was the same as Birmingham with the slight change of I Was Made being moved to the encore and Do You Love Me dropped.
Gene was on Good Morning Britain this morning talking about the tour, gum, monarchy & politics.
It starts around 2:18:30 onwards.
