It's been a long time coming. but KISS have once again destroyed Donington. Too tired to write a report yet but it was a fantastic night, here's a few highlights:-

- Paul mention coming back for a full tour next year.....
- Pauls throat croacked a bit at the start but got better (much better)
- Tommy got a fantastic response from the crowd for his solo
- No set list surprises
- Bloody brilliant night!!!

Off 2 bed........

Concert Live, the instant live CD specialists in the UK, are currently working with KISS on their KISS Alive 35 European tour, creating limited edition CD's of 10 of their gigs. What exactly does that mean? Well you'll be able to pay for and collect a live copy of the show on CD on the night of the show itself! How cool is that - this includes both Donington and Paris for those going. You may remember KISS doing something similar in the US a few years back, and the quality of them was pretty good, so this is definitely a welcome addition to the European tour.

The dates being recorded are follows:

To celebrate Kiss’s 35th anniversary tour, Classic Rock’s July edition has been printed with a series of completely different limited edition
covers. Four separate covers have been produced exclusively for the US market.  Readers can take their pick from individual cover photos of Gene
Simmons, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer or Eric Singer!

However, for the rest of us, Classic Rock’s cover features all the members of Kiss in a group shot. To buy alternative Kiss covers, go to and search for Classic Rock.

Some months ago, I showed the first 1/6 scale replica of KISS costumes with one of Paul Stanley. Now I have finished the whole collection from the 2nd album of KISS from 1974, HOTTER THAN HELL. The band used 18 different costumes. Some are joining with this mail. The rest is on my site  You click on “KISS 12” figures” thumbnail, then on cover lp of Hotter Than Hell and you can choose the member you want. You’ll find photos of front and back views.  I shall add information below each pictures next week.

KISS fans will be lining up to get their piece of music memorabilia history – and will be helping
disadvantaged kids in the process. Acer Arena has joined forces with The Australian Children’s Music Foundation (ACMF), and plans to auction off unique music memorabilia all in the name of a good cause.

Next month 'Rock Band' will be released for the Nintendo Wii (like Guitar Hero but with drums too), as well as having Detroit Rock City on the main game a seperate add on disc will be available that will also contain Calling Dr Love. The later will be from the original master tapes, although I'm not sure about 100% sure about DRC yet.
