Thanks to Paul and each and everyone of you at KISSin UK!

I just wanted to drop you a line to bring you up to date with my progress; I’m still having
re-education twice weekly, with another 6-8 weeks left to go before I consult the pecialists again (they tell me that every thing looks very positive, but I’ll need to take it easy!). I’ve started practising behind the drums (something I’ve been itching to do for many months now!) and things are going well!

In honor of the 30th anniversary of the Star Wars saga, Quiet Riot
guitarist Alex Grossi has been interviewed by the mysterious Maul
Stanley (a parody hybrid of Star Wars character Darth Maul and Kiss
guitarist Paul Stanley). As part of this special week-long event, Maul
Stanley has also interviewed members of Twisted Sister, Poison and
Cinderella regarding their own unique Star Wars experiences.

A few excerpts from the Alex Grossi interview follow:

‘DRESSED TO KILL’, Europe’s most revered and longest established KISS Tribute Band will be re-conquering their territories of London & Mansfield nest weekend when they play two blood, fire & pyro-filled shows of ‘Rock & Roll’!! Be sure not to miss the “most visually, aurally (and orally!) authentic KISS Tribute ever” at the following shows: Fri 25h May – London (Walthamstow) ‘The Standard’ And Sat 26th May – Mansfield (Sutton In Ashfield) ‘The Diamond’

I now have a copy of the gig poster for the upcoming Room Service gig featuring Leigh Marklew (Sat 7th July). Click on the poster for a larger version.

Just a short message to let you know about a gig that is happening in Bradford on July 7th. Our new, and rather different KISS tribute band ROOM SERVICE are playing our first show at Bradford Gasworks Club on Saturday July 7th 2007. Doors I think at 8pm. All the tunes are taken from the 1973-1979 period. The band features Mozza, ex-Paradise Lost drummer, Kes Loy (from numerous bands including Leafeater and Malibu Stacey) and me, Leigh (who used to be in Terrorvision for my sins!). Should be lots of fun with a set list to die for!!

Peter Criss, founding member and drummer of iconic rock group KISS, will release his new solo CD entitled ONE FOR ALL July 24 on Silvercat Records, distributed by Sony/Red.  The CD will be distributed day-and-date to fans across the globe.
