Peter Criss has taken part in the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in New Jersey. KISS Asylum have posted some great pictures (the one to the right is theres) please visit their site for more details. The following article was posted on app.com, big thanks to Marie for pointing it out.
For Peter Criss, former drummer of the rock band "Kiss," who found out he had male breast cancer and was treated in 2008, the annual walk is a living example that when people pull together for a cause they can figuratively move mountains.
"This is like Woodstock, and we're all here to find a cure for one thing, and that's cancer," said Criss, 64, the Brooklyn-born musician who now lives in Wall. "It's so strong when so many people get together for one thing. God bless you all for coming today, and being part of something that is greater than all of us."
Criss said he reacted the same way most men react when told they have breast cancer.
"I didn't think men got breast cancer," Criss said. "When you think of men, you think of them getting heart attacks or prostate cancer, and they don't get breast cancer.
Criss, who was fortunate to have his cancer diagnosed and treated in its early stages last year, joined an American Cancer Society fundraising team called "Bosom Buddies: Twin Peaks" that this year has raised an estimated $20,935 for cancer research.

Genesimmons.com has again been targeted by hackers, this time they weren't happy with the response he posted up on his site saying how the FBI were on the case and that he had pictures.
Gene's site was temporarily pointed to The Pirate Bay as well as undergoing a DOS attack, seems like he's pissed off a few too many geeks this time.

The following article appeared in The Guardian:
Never one to bite his tongue (sorry), the public face of Kiss, its bassist Gene Simmons, has become the latest target of assiduous online attackers, Anonymous.
Two of Simmons' official websites, SimmonsRecords.com and GeneSimmons.com, have been hit by the group of activists as an apparent reprisal for insisting that musicians should be far more aggressive in the pursuit of illicit filesharers. The Anonymous group, linked umbilically to influential online forum 4Chan, have forced several websites linked to copyright-protection bodies offline in recent weeks.
The offending comments were made by Simmons on a panel about building a successful entertainment brand. He said on Tuesday: "Make sure your brand is protected. Make sure there are no incursions. Be litigious. Sue everybody. Take their homes, their cars. Don't let anybody cross that line.
"The music industry was asleep at the wheel, and didn't have the balls to sue every fresh-faced, freckle-faced college kid who downloaded material. And so now we're left with hundreds of thousands of people without jobs. There's no industry."

FIRST EVER GAMING GUITAR IS INDUCTED INTO THE HISTORIC HARD ROCK HALL OF FAME BY THE UK'S BIGGEST KISS FAN
To mark the launch of Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, the first ever gaming guitar has been inducted in to the legendary Hard Rock Hall of Fame by the UK's biggest Kiss Fan Kevin Curtis. A member of the world's longest running KISS tribute band, Kevin was on hand to unveil the guitar which was framed and signed by KISS front man and rock god, Gene Simmons. The gaming controller now sits alongside historic memorabilia from such rock royalty as The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and Elvis Presley, where Guitar Hero has taken its rightful place in the pantheon of rock music lore as part of the Hard Rock Hall of Fame.
"Guitar Hero is a rock n roll icon and has made an incredible impact on the music industry," added Marc Carey, Regional Sales & Marketing, Hard Rock Europe. "We are delighted to be part of the Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock launch and to be inducting such an influential piece of music and gaming memorabilia into our collection. Hard Rock owns over 79,000 pieces of authentic music memorabilia that are proudly displayed in our cafes, hotels and casinos around the world. I have no doubt that one of the brand-new guitar controllers signed by Gene Simmons will be a welcome addition."
