Hollywood, August 2007 - KISS Tribute Song Debuts in Top 40 on Online RockRadio!
Friends With Painted Faces, the KISS Tribute song inspired by the KISS Army and written/recorded by A&E's Ultimate KISS Fan Bob Brunson made its debut this month on Songvault.FM Online Radio's Rock Charts at # 36.
Following his appearance on A&E’s popular reality show Gene Simmons Family Jewels, Brunson invited KISS fans everywhere to write in and tell him why they loved the band. He used this input and his own to write and record the first-ever official tribute song for a band, inspired by its fans and recorded by the Ultimate Fan.
Additionally, Bob has teamed with the charity AboutFaceUSA to donate a portion of proceeds from song download. KISS fans might recall Paul Stanley worked with this group a few years back as well.

Doctors make Kiss star drop gig
Heart problems have forced Kiss singer and guitarist Paul Stanley to abandon a show in California, US.
"My heart spontaneously jumped to 190 plus beats per minute where it stayed for over an hour," his website said.
Paramedics stopped and restarted his heart to give it a regular rhythm. He said the episode was "exhausting".

During sound check yesterday, my heart spontaneously jumped to 190 plus beats per minute where it stayed for over an hour necessitating paramedics to start an IV and give me a shot to momentarily stop my heart and get it into a normal pattern. Not knowing if this episode was life threatening made it even more exhausting. After consulting with both the paramedics and a cardiologist at Cedar Sinai, they confirmed my worst fear. They said that I would put myself at risk if I tried to do the show.
I’m very proud of Gene, Tommy and Eric for carrying on without me. I apologize to anyone I disappointed and I’ll make it up to you when I see you again.
Paul.

Just a rumour so far, but from DigitalSpy and The Star:-
Gene Simmons has signed up for the next series of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!, according to a report today.
The Daily Star claims that producers expect the Kiss singer to spice up the jungle with his outrageous opinions and bad boy antics.
Simmons is no stranger to reality TV; he has previously starred in Channel 4's Rock School, which saw him turning a class of youngsters into a rock group.
It is rumoured that Gene will be joined in Australia by former supermodel Janice Dickinson and TV psychic Sally Morgan, when the show returns later this year.

Thanks to Paul and each and everyone of you at KISSin UK!
I just wanted to drop you a line to bring you up to date with my progress; I’m still having
re-education twice weekly, with another 6-8 weeks left to go before I consult the pecialists again (they tell me that every thing looks very positive, but I’ll need to take it easy!). I’ve started practising behind the drums (something I’ve been itching to do for many months now!) and things are going well!
